New touch screen display has integrated optical imaging technology which enables the user to interact with the display by touch. The technology is unique as it recognizes where the user places their finger on the screen by utilizing an infra-red illuminated frame and custom line-scan cameras to determine touch point. The touch can be registered up to 1mm before physical contact on the screen's surface.
